Slacker

Hi, sorry for the slackness in my blogging recently, we've had a bit of a broadband shortage and my internet usage has been limited - and no it wasn't because of too much eBaying on my part! This won't be a problem for us anymore though as we have upgraded our package and now have unlimited broadband (jealous Dave??).

Things are going well here in sunny Qld. We spent most of the weekend in the garden, we've pulled down the daggy old lattice fencing and today our brand new 7ft fence was put up and it looks great. The sticky beak in me feels a bit sad though as i can't see out in to the street anymore but at least we have Cookies back. For the last couple of weeks we lost Cookies to the cars. He spent all his time running up and down the front fence chasing the cars along. This may not sound all that bad but he was so focused on the cars that he paid us no attention what so ever and barely noticed our visitors, not like him at all. But now we have him back and it is good, Custard is very excited, she has her little wrestling buddy back.

Speaking of the dogs, i realise i haven't mentioned them much, well not in any great detail anyway. They are loving their new home and yard. When not distracted with car chasing, they spend their time running around chasing each other and playing with their toys, and digging, they love to dig - i just need to get them focused and they can dig the pool out for us!

They have also grown up heaps. Cookies has become much more obedient and surprises me by doing what i say - i just have to say 'outside' and off he goes. He has also become very good at playing ball. He runs and picks it up and then actually brings it back and drops in at my feet or in my hand repeatedly - Steve you will be impressed! Custard has also grown, she is getting quite big and starting to scare me with how big she might get, but she is a little sweetie and just follows me around.

Just like us though, they are both missing their friends and can't wait for you to visit.

xxx
