Hi, I can't believe it has been two weeks since my last post, time is getting away from me. Again is has been another few weeks of visitors. The weekend before last we were delighted to have some good friends from home come to stay with us. It was a really enjoyable weekend, so relaxed and easy, and all the things expected when good friends catch up. It was sad to see them go home but it was made easier by the fact that they are coming back in a couple of weekends as part of their longer holiday.
Last weekend we had my brother's girlfriend's daughter and their dog and fish stay with us. Surprisingly it was another good weekend and not as hard as i had kind of expected. Although i realise now that 2 dogs is enough!
In amongst all this, my dad came up for a surprise visit too. He has been here for about a week and a half and is heading home tomorrow. It was so good to see him. He had been away for the 2 months before we moved here so i hadn't seen him in about 4-5 months. It will be sad to see him off tomorrow.
When im not spending time with my visiting friends and family, im trying to get a job. This part has been a lot harder than i thought it would be. I've had a few interviews but always seem to get the 'it was close but we decided to go with the other girl' outcome. I can see why people get depressed about not being able to find work, it is hard being rejected :( Im keeping positive though, something has to come up soon.
