Well construction of the decking is now fully underway. T and his dad and brother spent Sunday pulling out tree roots and leveling the ground to get it ready for the builder. It was a very hot day and there were a few times where i thought it might get the better of them. The first photo is taken that night. Cookies and Custard were busy checking out the new ground.
The builder came yesterday morning and started on the foundations. There was a bit of a mix up though as to who was doing the digging for the holes, he thought it was T and left it for him to do when he got home from work. T was not happy about this but got in and dug them out, after about 5hrs of digging, i again thought it had gotten the better of him. Cookies thought it was great fun though and kept putting his toys in the holes.
And then this morning, just when we have more dirt in our yard than ever before, it rains. I guess we should have known it would. So the dogs are loving it and construction might be delayed a day or two.
Anyway i just thought i'd keep you updated on our progress. Hopefully soon we'll have photos of the completed project.

I figured that was what you meant. T said it was funny when he was digging and Cookies dropped his toy in the hole, Cookies then scratched frantically trying to get it out again. T wished there was some way he could get Cookies to focus his digging to help him out a bit.
