since leaving Commerce and moving to the Gold Coast, i have been looking for a new career. The job market is quite different here and it has made me think about long term employment in a new light. For the last few months i have been thinking about small business options and I came across an ad for a floristry school. I thought this sounded interesting and it has been on my mind to start the course.
Well tonight was my first night and i really enjoyed it. We learnt how to do flowers in a plastic tube, not really my favourite way to get flowers but it was interesting to learn how to put it all together. And it turned out quite nicely, i'm pretty crap at the ribbon part but apparently by the end of the course i'll be doing them in my sleep.
The course goes for 30 lessons and covers all kind of arrangements.....i'll keep you posted :)
