Grass!! and it is so beautiful! After months of trying to grow our own grass and failing, we bit the bullet and got our lawn done professionally. We had no idea that it would make such a difference to how our yard looked, and i can't tell you how happy i felt when i came home on monday it is was in..... it really is the simple things in life that are the best.
The dogs have been funny though, i thought they would want to roll around on it and play like they usually do, but when we let them out on to it they quickly ran off on to the deck. Custard then stood at the edge of the deck and just put one paw down on the grass, but quickly jumped backwards on to the deck again. It was funny to watch them. But in a way it is good, we are trying to keep them off it as much as we can so it can settle in properly.
We are really happy with how the yard looks and i think that might be the end of our major garden renovations.
