T and I went to a wedding on the weekend. It was lovely. The bride is one of my oldest friends and i was so happy to be there to help her celebrate such a special event. And strangely enough the wedding was held at a resort about 5 mins away from our house, and it was so great to see people i knew in our new local area.
Another one of my friends i grew up with was also at the wedding. We had been pretty close however we had a falling out a number of years ago and i guess because of silliness on my part, i let the friendship go. As we gathered together in the area where the ceremony was being held, i was wondering what i should do, and sadly in true michelle form, i did nothing, just stood there wondering. Luckily for me, my friends are better than that and she came up to us to say hi. From there we spent most of the night chatting and catching up. If you do read this S, i'd like to say thank you for taking the chance to say hi, im glad you did.
It is kind of funny to me that i have spent time over the last couple of weeks whinging and worrying about how im going to make new friends, and then out of the blue an old friendship was re-made and I became better friends with someone else i knew at the wedding. Life is full of surprises.

oops, maybe i told the story a bit wrongly, the wedding was here but everyone (apart from T and I) flew in from other cities. So still no GC friends :)
True friendship and true love depend on acceptance, forgiveness and understanding from all involved.
It takes this to happen on both sides for things to move forward - thank you to the both of you, I am glad you also took the chance.
I am very glad that close friends were able to come from all over the country to share what ended up being from all accounts a very special day for everyone involved.
a big thank you for making the weekend so special to all involved.
